In this time of thanksgiving, we are so thankful we get the opportunity to capture the most amazing days for the most amazing couples, Sam & Katie's wedding day was one we will remember for a very very veerrryyy long time. Take a look at just a few of the many many incredible moments of this unforgettable day!!!
I don't think I can truly explain what a special session this was for me and how incredibly thankful I feel getting to photograph this beautiful and wonderful couple. I met Allison back in 2011 when I was her room leader in our church's beach week, she was a highschool student and Luke and I had just started "hanging out"
It was so good to be back at Blue Hill Farm to shoot in Waterford, Virginia for Eamon and Mallory's wedding day. We arrived and were immediately greeted by the the love and laughter of friends and family ready to celebrate two best friends say, I do.
The sweetest day for the coolest couple ever!! We first chatted with Jon and Melissa via Facetime and heard about their love for good beer, their dogs, and how excited they were to come to Colorado to celebrate their wedding day.
I absolutley love being able to fly to Virginia for a wedding day!! Not only do I get a chance to see my family while i'm in town, but nothing compares to an outdoor country wedding. Getting to meet Chris & Cristin and celebrating such a special day for their family and friends was such a great privilege, my favorite part was seeing how their beautiful new baby was part of the entire day, the joy and love was in the air and I couldn't be happier to capture it!
This time last week, Luke and I were in Virginia getting ready to celebrate Evan and Christine’s BIG DAY! The day was filled with love, laughter, and a healthy amount of joyful tears. The MoH and BM speeches we’re something to be remembered!
This wedding was extra special because it was the second time Luke and I had the opportunity of working with the Walls family! Such a privilege to be part of two weddings within this family… and let me tell you, they know how to party!
Wishing Evan and Christine the best and a long and fulling marriage! Can’t wait to share the full preview soon!
After having a few days of gray clouds and cold weather, the sky opened up and the sun was bright for Jon and Melissa's engagement session, it was the perfect day to make the short drive to Garden of the Gods and be surrounded by such amazing views.
I can't believe it was just a few months ago that we were celebrating Austin and Anna say I do! There are two moments that immediately come to mind when I think about this wonderful day. 1. The thunderous and roar like cheers that Austin and Anna's family and friends gave when they were announced into their reception and 2. how hard we laughed at the Austin's brother's best man speech!
The day called for 100% rain and although we did get a lot of it the night before, the skies cleared up and the sun was bright for Kristin and Ryan's wedding day. From the first time we met them over coffee to hear about they met and their vision for their day, we knew it was going to be a special gathering of family and friends to celebrate two best friends becoming husband and wife.
We were so incredibly excited to work with Jon and Ali for their big wedding day! We had such a great time meeting them and hanging out for their engagement session that when the big day arrived, we were ready to see them say "I do!"
A pancake cake, a donut table, mimosas, and a cheerio exit! These are just a few of the things that made this morning brunch wedding one of the sweetest and memorable weddings we've been blessed enough to photograph. I'm not sure if you believe in soulmates, but some people, some experiences, make me believe that everything moves and happens so two people can meet and spend the rest of their lives together.
I think one of my favorite parts about this day was hearing everyone share how they were part of Nick and Lauren's love story, family and friends who were present during so many milestones in their lives and being witnesses from the very beginning when they first met while working at Starbucks, graduating college, adopting a puppy, buying a house, and now becoming husband and wife
The first time we met Jon & Carson was at one of our favorite coffee spots in Arlington, we not only found out that we had mutual friends, but also that they had been guests at one of our weddings back in April BEFORE they were engaged. Cue the song "It's a small world after all"
